I’m Neil Dobson, a software engineer and technology enthusiast.

I’m passionate about software development, particularly clean code architecture and practicing SOLID principles.

With an Electrical Engineering background, I used to design and build embedded systems, integrating machinery and developing control systems in the food & beverage, packaging, and aerospace industries.

More recently I worked with microservices architecture on various logistics projects, bridging legacy, on-premise systems with the cloud.

I’m a full-stack developer with experience in .NET Framework, Azure & AWS cloud, SQL, NoSQL & Graph databases, javascript frameworks, and CI/CD & DevOps automation.

When I’m not cooking, or out on my bike, I like learning about and writing high-quality software.

I work at Deep Blue Company where I build cloud-native PropTech solutions on modern tech stacks with the TypeScript language.
